Eroica

Premiered in 2010 at Gothenburg Opera in Sweden by Gothenburg Dance Company

In this work, choreographer Lukáš Timulak explores Beethoven’s landmark Symphony No. 3 “Eroica”. Inspired by the composer’s personal life, especially his Heiligenstadt period, Timulak looks into the life of an enigmantic man. Peter Bilak created a custom lightning structure that adapts to the story of the dance piece.
