Hidden Order

Premiered in 2018 at Historical Mahen Theatre with National Theatre of Brno (CZ)

We live in a structured word, surrounded by visible and less visible patterns. Historically men endeavoured to understand these patterns in mathematics, biology or chemistry in order to better understand the world we live in. In this latest choreography by Lukas Timulak, patterns and relationships are explored in a work where dance, visual elements and music comes together in a seamless harmony made by the contrast of forms, lights and movement. Timulak turned to his long time collaborator Peter Bilak for the design of the set, and light designer Yutaka Endo to visualise the usually invisible patterns around us.

Make Move Think followed the process of creating HIDDEN ORDER together with the artistic team and cinematographer Hector Salgado. This short doc will be screened at Eye Filmmuseum in Amsterdam, as it is part of the official selection at Cinedans Festival 2020 & 2021.
